Claire Treinen is a junior consultant.
Her work includes analysing human rights management systems of financial institutions, assessing due diligence processes of corporate organisations and NGOs, monitoring legislative developments in the business and human rights sphere, and setting up capacity-building measures such as trainings and workshops for company representatives. Since she joined our team in 2018, Claire has assisted in benchmark assessments and conducted research on human rights risks and impacts in global supply chains of various sectors. She also supports the communications team.
In 2019, she co-created the non-profit organisation Finance and Human Rights, where she is the vice-chair. Prior to her role at Löning, she worked in international contexts with academic and UN institutions, and gained experience at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She completed her B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Economics with a focus on behavioural and organisational economics at the Humboldt-University of Berlin.
Claire is fluent in German, English, French, and Luxembourgish.
